Lessons learned: STÖBICH remains flexible with the working model
There is currently a lot of discussion nationwide about easing. But no matter how the decision is made regarding the home office obligation: As a certified future provider, STÖBICH continues to rely on mobile or hybrid working - where it is possible and sensible.
Future provider – what does that actually mean? The title for particularly attractive employers in the region is based on an initiative of the employers' association Region Braunschweig e. V. STÖBICH had already successfully completed the certification process and received the seal in 2019.
Recertification is currently underway, but has been delayed due to the pandemic. The family company from Goslar did a lot to get the award again. The introduction of the Welcome Day as part of onboarding to give new employees a fitting welcome at the headquarters in Goslar, a contemporary code of conduct and revised management principles are just a few examples of the changes. In addition, the aforementioned mobile or hybrid work should offer more freedom for the workforce. As a result, employees in the company enjoy more flexibility when choosing their place of work if their job allows it. Because of the good experiences with mobile or hybrid work concepts during the pandemic, STÖBICH continues to voluntarily offer its office employees the opportunity to work from home or another location on a daily basis. The well-known fire protection company is not only responsible for the health of the workforce. Thanks to the expanded IT infrastructure, mobile and hybrid working now works without any problems, and why shouldn't employees benefit from this in terms of a positive work-life balance?
