      Fire protection curtains

      Fire protection curtains are seal openings in walls and ceilings in case of fire. The constructional set-up (rolling- or folding technology) and the use of different fabrics offer a wide application spectrum as well as different protection targets or classifications and time classes. Casings and side guides of those flexible applicable systems are integrated almost invisibly in the building and provide much scope for design of sophisticated architecture for opened designs.

      Manifold production - and logisitc processes require different construction types of conveying systems. If the haulage drifts are passing through fire-retarding resp. fire-resisting walls or ceilings, the necessary openings must be provided with fire protection closures to avoid the expansion of the fire by conveyor technique or by conveyed material. In case of fire the conveyor system closures have to seal those openings immediately and automatically. Thereby a classified fire resistance as well as the smoothly clearing of the closing area must be respected in case of release.

The 14th Braunschweig Fire Protection Days were a success

The 38th Braunschweig Fire Protection Days have sparked lively interest in professional circles. STÖBICH has enriched the combined conference and exhibition with a walk-in exhibition cube.

On October 25 and 26, 2024, the Institute for Building Materials, Solid Construction and Fire Protection at the Technical University of Braunschweig will once again be hosting the renowned “Braunschweig Fire Protection Days” conference. Around 600 participants had registered.

In addition to sessions on current topics such as plant-specific fire protection, fire protection in timber construction and the symposium on fire protection design, there was also an exhibition again.

There was a lot going on at the three-dimensional STÖBICH stand. Here, visitors were able to experience our ➥ innovative fire protection solutions in a textile construction at first hand, based on various installation situations. We were able to hold extensive discussions and expand and strengthen our network.

We had two successful days in Braunschweig, where we were repeatedly impressed by the event, which has now taken place for the 38th time.
