The company Trianel GmbH was established in 1999 with the main goal of combining the interests of municipal utilities, communal energy suppliers, supporting them in their independence and competitive capabilities in the energy market. Now, more than 100 partners and stakeholders from the communal area are pursuing this idea of concentrating capacities in the network. The Trianel partners now supply more than six million people in various countries, namely The Netherlands, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
